“Talent Corner Successfully closed a Software Developer profile for one of our clients situated in Lucknow. Challenging task was hunting the right candidate with the right skills to clear the lengthy process of interview”.
Our client, located in Lucknow, was looking for a Software Developer. The Client company is an old career counselling provider in India. They had very specific requirements.
Interestingly, the HR of this client had previously worked with us in his earlier company. It was because he had had a fabulous experience and he gave us this mandate in his New Company. We had a Reputation to stick upto.
Our Team Member- Ms. Rosy started the search. The search was challenging because the client was very meticulous about their requirements. They required candidates from NIT, IIM & IIT & those who have experience in product based startup companies, only mobile app development.
Apart from this client even has a very lengthy interview process, (4 to 5 rounds) which includes one week’s assignment of developing a complete website. Clients’ reason for hiring candidates specially from startup companies was that the candidates have much better exposure towards work compared to other companies. It was a difficult task to pinpoint resumes from job portals of the candidates with required skills & qualification.
The next challenging step was to convince the candidates to apply for the position & appear for the interview due to its lengthy process. Many candidates were hesitant to do the assignment round because they felt that the company may take undue advantage of their coding work. Even after conversing with the candidates, some of them agreed to do the assignment round, but it was so difficult to develop a website by an individual, thus they could not clear the round.
After suggesting a number of candidates to the client, finally one candidate cleared all the rounds of the interview and thus closed the profile. Both the client as well as candidate were satisfied by Rosy’s efforts- The way she helped the candidate with all the necessary & timely information about the interview.
