“Successfully Closed a Niche Senior Sales Manager Position for a MNC IT client. The Story is Special because a Lot of Convincing & Trust Building was required to relocate a Candidate from another city. After a successful closure, both client and candidate both thanked us personally”.
One of our MNC IT Clients was looking for a Niche Senior Sales Manager Position for their Mumbai office. They were very specific to their Skill Set & Only agreed to for a Local Candidate
Our Hardworking & Experienced Team Member – Mr. Rahul Thakar started the hunt. The Position had been open for a while & most candidates had already been screened by the client. In spite we provided some relevant profiles. But that did not serve its purpose either. Position went on hold due to Covid-19.
After few months later Mr. Rahul was asked to start touring again. Eventually he found a candidate, which matched the exact skills needed. The Challenge was that the candidate was from the Ahmedabad location.
With a Lot of Effort- Mr. Rahul convinced the client to at least try interviewing a non-local candidate because the candidate was perfect for the position. After going through the candidate’s profile and talking to the candidate, Client agreed to conduct the interview.
The Bigger Challenge for Rahul, was to convince the candidate as the candidate. Candidate was Skeptical relocate to Mumbai. He had no exposure and experience in Mumbai’s Competitive Market. Rahul did not give up on the candidate. He personally met him & consulted him to at least try taking the interview. All Pros & Cons were discussed.
Some Mutual Consultation & the process then went on smoothly. Both the Client & the Candidate were thankful for the effort taken.
Our team learnt that it is important to go that extra mile if you believe that you have the right opportunity. By taking that extra effort in convincing both parties- Rahul helped create a Proud Moment for Talent Corner.
