The IT industry has seen an exponential growth in the last decade which makes recruitment in that sector all the more interesting. That’s exactly why we were thrilled when approached by an enterprise ICT Solutions company based in Mumbai.
The client required us to fill two positions for the profile of a Network Engineer. Our team member, Tanmay Ghosh took the initiative to embark on the exciting journey of this mandate. With resolute and laser-like focus, he commenced the task of looking for candidates qualified for the position.
One of the most consequential factors of any given assignment lies in the urgency to fulfil. Depending on the discipline and determination of the person in charge of the task, time constraints can either make or break chances of success. For this mandate, the client’s urgency for the position to be filled was extreme.
Due to the pressure that comes with time-sensitivity, this prerequisite could have potentially posed an insurmountable problem. However, Tanmay centered his gusto and began identifying suitable candidates with copious speed. Another impediment that he faced during the hunt was that the job would require the selected candidate to be willing to travel PAN India.
Tanmay viewed these challenges as mere opportunities to push beyond the limitations and amplify his own capabilities. He conducted many rounds of interviews not just through the week but also over the weekend. Thanks to this vigor, he managed to close both the positions within a week’s time. This impressive closure just goes to show how smart, concentrated effort is the only shortcut you need to tackle any curveball.
