Headquartered in Mumbai and operating across the nation, a giant multiplex cinema chain was on the lookout to fill the position of a Unit Head for their location in Indore. The client seeked us out to manage the recruitment for the same.
The mandate was allocated to our capable and experienced team member Sandhya Kulkarni. She has been a vibrant part of the TC team for three years wherein she had already closed the positions of Unit Manager, Operations Manager and Duty Manager in different locations of India
for the same client.
The Indore location proved to be a challenge as it was one of the fancier divisions of the chain and the location was also frequented by the hotshots of the city. Another hurdle was the client’s requirement for a candidate from the Food & Beverage sector, instead of the competition industry i.e the multiplex one.
Sandhya began the search and the process of shortlisting profiles of suitable candidates after a detailed discussion about the client requirements with the Regional HR head. She closed the position in a little over 2 months after 4-5 rounds of interviewing by different region VPs and GMs of the company. She found an excellent prospect, a candidate who was selected from a batch of 20 odd interviewees. Originally based in Pune, the candidate graciously agreed to relocate to Indore.
The triumphant closure wouldn’t have been possible without Sandhya’s valuable experience and an immense amount of support from the Talent Corner team, especially Rashesh Doshi and Joyeeta Khaskel. The positive outcome of this mandate also led Sandhya to be awarded the Certificate of Appreciation as the Star Franchise for the month of September 2019 by Rashesh Doshi.
