A technology consulting firm from Hyderabad contacted us to manage their recruitment requirements. At the time of this mandate, they were looking to fill the positions for Java Lead, Java Full Stack Developers and Leads, Technical Architect, Solution Architect, UI Developers and Lead Developers.
This was a great opportunity for Talent Corner to close multiple positions for the firm. But this opportunity came with its fair share of challenges due to the recent times. And closing multiple positions at such a time as this was a huge undertaking.
While Bhargav Ram from our team was successfully able to meet the expectations by screening over 300 profiles with approximately 10 applications each day, the major challenge was the assessment tests. The client had set an online technical test. Many candidates pulled out due to the internet, laptop and other connectivity issues.
The tests are usually AI monitored or using third party software, however, in this case, just one HR executive was handed the responsibility to monitor 6 candidates each hour till the end of the day. Not only was this process time-consuming but also required the team to be on late night calls for confirmations and coordination.
Bhargav managed the team through the ups and downs until we successfully closed the first position of the mandate in 87 days. All other positions were closed too in another 30 days. Bhargav and the team never made a single excuse during the process.
