A well-known Ed-Tech company was expanding its employee base and approached us to recruit more than 100 plus sales managers for their branch in Kolkata. This was a big assignment for us.
Satarupa, an experienced and dedicated member from our team, was on her feet to run with this assignment. But each assignment comes with its own unique complexities. As she began to share profiles with the client, she realised that many candidates were also approached by their competitors as well as other internal team members of Talent Corner. Around 20 other agencies were gunning for the same project too.
Satarupa started looking for other ways to tackle this situation. She took a different approach to solve this challenge. She decided to call the candidates who weren’t looking actively but were open for a possible career growth opportunity. She started looking through her own personal contacts such as her friends, families, colleagues, ex-classmates, professors, and even the placement team from her college. By doing this, she knew the chances of any overlap were few and that it would avoid wastage of time and energy of any candidate.
She stretched her reach beyond data that was available in the public domains across various online portals. She proved that the difficulties aren’t roadblocks but opportunities. It was a delight to see her and candidates shining bright. The client was impressed by her work too. It’s the team members like Satarupa and her ability to think out of the box is what makes Talent Corner the best in the recruitment business.
